MATAERIAL

A 3D Printing system that can create forms without the hindrance of gravity - video embedded below:

A brand new method of additive manufacturing. This patent-pending method allows for creating 3D objects on any given working surface independently of its inclination and smoothness, and without a need of additional support structures. Conventional methods of additive manufacturing have been affected both by gravity and printing environment: creation of 3D objects on irregular, or non-horizontal surfaces has so far been treated as impossible . By using innovative extrusion technology we are now able to neutralize the effect of gravity during the course of the printing process. This method gives us a flexibility to create truly natural objects by making 3D curves instead of 2D layers. Unlike 2D layers that are ignorant to the structure of the object, the 3D curves can follow exact stress lines of a custom shape. Finally, our new out of the box printing method can help manufacture structures of almost any size and shape.

DIY Bra to Bathing Suit Top Tutorial from Tasha Delrae here. I love this tutorial! Another blogger recreated the above bra to suit top and also had good results. This is a good way to get a perfect fitting bathing suit top. If you go to the link she used an old bra that had seen better days.

whoa can you actually do this

We enter a little coffeehouse with a friend of mine and give our order. While we’re aproaching our table two people come in and they go to the counter: ‘Five coffees, please. Two of them for us and three suspended’ They pay for their order, take the two and leave. I ask my friend: “What are those ‘suspended’ coffees?” My friend: “Wait for it and you will see.” Some more people enter. Two girls ask for one coffee each, pay and go. The next order was for seven coffees and it was made by three lawyers - three for them and four ‘suspended’. While I still wonder what’s the deal with those ‘suspended’ coffees I enjoy the sunny weather and the beautiful view towards the square infront of the café. Suddenly a man dressed in shabby clothes who looks like a beggar comes in throught the door and kindly asks ‘Do you have a suspended coffee ?’ It’s simple - people pay in advance for a coffee meant for someone who can not afford a warm bevarage. The tradition with the suspended coffees started in Naples, but it has spread all over the world and in some places you can order not only a suspended coffee, but also a sandwitch or a whole meal. Wouldn’t it be wonderful to have such cafés or even grocery stores in every town where the less fortunate will find hope and support ? If you own a business why don’t you offer it to your clients… I am sure many of them will like it.

I just saw this and thought it would be incredible to share this so maybe it  could catch on wherever you may live

Well now I’m crying, this is great.

In preparation for frigid Boston winters, I’m thinking footie pajamas.

Anyone wanna match with me?

The real incentive is the drop seat (read: butt flaps)

My school only allows 10 excused absences a quarter, and I’m not sure if I have less than 8 right now because I need two days to go to CPW. If I can’t go to CPW because of this stupid 10 absences policy then I’m going to be so mad/upset/angry/sad/disappointed/depressed. I am so excited for CPW, goddamn.
